If you have driven in Georgia, a quick check after the journey can save you an unpleasant surprise later. Georgian APPA lets you search the fine information made publicly available by the Georgian Police and Ministry of Internal Affairs using your vehicle's license plate.

Can foreign-plated vehicles receive camera fines?
Yes. Georgian traffic rules apply to vehicles registered abroad as well as locally registered cars. The Administrative Offences Code also contains specific provisions for offences recorded by camera when a vehicle has a foreign state plate.
If you drove from Armenia to Tbilisi or Batumi, for example, an uneventful border crossing does not necessarily mean that no camera recorded the vehicle. It is sensible to check after returning home and again before the next trip.
Why a fine may appear after the journey
Some notices are not immediately visible in the public register. The Georgian Police explains that when a penalty notice cannot be delivered through the prescribed process, it may be published on the Ministry of Internal Affairs public-information website. In that situation, the notice is treated as delivered on the 30th day after publication.
This is why one check immediately after leaving Georgia may not be enough. If the trip was recent, check again later or activate fine alerts. With alerts, Georgian APPA can monitor the plate and email you if matching information becomes available.
Can I pay a Georgian traffic fine online?
When a fine is eligible for Georgian APPA's payment-assistance service, you can request payment through the site using one of the supported international payment methods. A Georgian bank account or Georgian-issued card is not required for the Georgian APPA checkout.

How long do I have to pay?
Use the deadline displayed for the specific notice. Do not count from the day you happened to discover it. Different provisions and delivery methods can lead to different timelines, and an overdue fine may attract a surcharge or further enforcement.
If anything in the result is unclear, confirm it through the official Georgian Police record before paying. The practical rule is simple: check the notice, verify its deadline, and deal with it before it becomes overdue.
What if the checker finds nothing?
A blank result is reassuring, but it is not a permanent clearance certificate. Georgian APPA searches the information currently available through the relevant public systems; it cannot display a record that has not yet been published there.
