Aleko

Aleko is a small, family-run Georgian kitchen in Sarpi, a couple of minutes past the Sarpi–Sarp border crossing on the E70. It is the highest-rated place in the village and an easy first stop before the 20-minute drive on to Batumi. This is home cooking rather than fine dining: hearty Georgian staples, generous plates, a terrace looking out over the Black Sea and a family that runs the room themselves.
